Sunday Morning Bible Study Class
The Sunday Morning Bible Study is a group of individuals who read the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, and discuss the Bible’s historical, literary, and most important, it’s spiritual content. We believe the Bible is a living document. The Biblical settings are different from ours, but the characters of Biblical history are real, and their struggles and concerns are very much like ours. We are lay people with no seminary training. We use a study guide and share leadership. We compare various Bible interpretations in an attempt to understand what the scripture is trying to tell us. We discuss our individual prayer concerns and pray together as a group. We welcome anyone who is interested in hearing the Bible come to life.
The Sunday Morning Bible Study collects a donation every Sunday morning and divides the sum between Paxton’s Christian Education budget and to a mission voted on by the group.
We meet every Sunday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 AM during the regular church school year.
