Christian Focus Class
Christian Focus on Current Issues is an adult class which focuses on the needs of our neighbors and how those needs are being met. Our larger focus is the world condition, along with current issues regarding the welfare of our fellow man. Our class explores a different topic each Sunday, with a speaker, film, or fact sheet to aid in our discussion and understanding. We also become proactive by conducting drives to support local non-profit agencies. Every October we collect sweatshirts and socks for the homeless. Other ongoing projects include collecting Campbell’s soup labels and toothpaste, antibiotic ointment, and baby ointment for the poor.
In fall 2007, we will be developing our own curriculum by looking at the current topics in the news and how it relates to scripture.
We meet Sundays from 9:30 to 10:45 AM, location TBD.
