Congregational Life
The Congregational Life Ministry is one of the two new ministries of Session created in 2005. The ministry has established as one of its primary goals assisting the congregation of Paxton Church in viewing itself from a whole church perspective through innovative, interesting, and fun fellowship and programs for all facets of the membership. It will strive to be flexible in its goals and approaches to meeting those goals as the needs and ministry of Paxton evolve. Congregational Life has held fellowship events over the last few years such as Bring a Friend to Church, the Sundae Sunday, the 275th anniversary celebration of the church in 2007 and the church-wide progressive dinner. When possible, the ministry also coordinates with other ministries such as Christian Education and Evangelism and Membership. The ministry also oversees the technology needs of the church through its Technology subcommittee.
The ministry meets the first Wednesday of each month (June-August as needed) at 6:30.
