Pastoral Care Committee
The Pastoral Care Committee works under the auspices of the Deacons. We are responsible for organizing the visitation of elderly members who cannot get to church, may be ill or have had an accident, and in some cases, widows and widowers. We try to have some type of contact once a month. Each Deacon is responsible for one or more members, and often a close bond is formed. Our goal is to make sure all members remain a part of our church family and church life, and to make sure they know they are loved and respected by the congregation. The committee also provides tapes of worship services and Christmas and Easter flowers.
